Students are often assigned to be library aides as part of their academic work. If the student is assigned to be library aide they will receive a grade in the class. Students that are assigned to be aides are trained in various library maintance tasks. This class is considered to be a job training class. At the end of a semester the student should be able to work in a college or public library as a page.
