The James Monroe Middle School Library-Media Center provides information and curriculum support. The library functions as an information center, providing access to a full range of resources in both traditional and electronic format for students and staff. The library also provides opportunities to acquire literacy skills and integrated interdisciplinary learning activities, which support the curriculum. The mission of the library program is to ensure that all students and staff become literate, effective, and responsible users of ideas and information.
